Brothers,
I’m saddened to share that our brother Joe Aragon went home to be with the Lord on Friday.
The family is currently making arrangements with Baca’s Funeral Home. Joe will be cremated, and his niche will be placed at Holy Cross.
Many of you know Joe was one of the founding members of our Men’s Bible Study. He was always willing to help, always ready to serve, and deeply dedicated to the work of the church. His faithfulness and quiet strength were a blessing to all of us.
Thank you, Cesar, for keeping us informed and walking alongside the family in this.
Please keep Joe’s family in prayer during this time.
I want to close with the words of our Lord in John 11:20–26:
---------------------
“Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him…
Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
But I know, that even now, whatsoever you will ask of God, God will give it thee.
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Do you believe this?”
-----------------------
This is our hope in the Lord. This is why we stay in the Word together — looking forward to the day we go home and hear the words:
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Please keep Joe’s loved ones lifted in prayer and share with us any updates you may have.
God Bless, Gentlemen,
Wade
